Obituary of Alan J. Kowalski

Went to be with Jesus, his lord and savior on October 7, 2023, at age 65. Predeceased by his father, Richard Kowalski. Survived by his loving wife, of 41 years, Sharee; Children, Jessica (Daniel) Driffill, Kelly (Douglas) Centola, Taylor Kowalski, and Joshua (Taylor) Kowalski; Grandson, Jackson Driffill; Mother, Mary Kowalski; Sister, Carol Boyan; Brother, Kenneth (Wanda) Kowalski; Brother and Sister-in-laws, Lynn (Russ) Burcham, Robert Fiorella, Karen Caccamise, Michael (Rita) Fiorella and Richard Fiorella; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

​Alan was a devoted family man who loved heading up a crowded family table. He took the utmost pride in taking care of his family and being an amazing husband and father. He cherished any time spent with his mother and siblings. Alan loved to build and create; whether he was grinding stumps or building his home, he was an artist and visionary and always made things better than he found them. He was always willing to lend his many talents to others and help out anyone that needed a hand. He so loved all of his friends and the guys at work. “Ski” took such pride in his job and loved working at the Town of Irondequoit. Alan was relentlessly energetic and optimistic and never spoke an ill word of anyone. He always found the best in all situations and all people. He read scripture daily and led a purposeful life led by an intimate relationship with Jesus. Alan will leave an enduring legacy of grace, love, and commitment to family that we should all aspire to. 

 

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 1pm-4pm with his memorial service at 4pm BOTH at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fpt. Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, N.Y. 14580.
