Alan was the best husband, father, friend, and Godly example I have had the privilege to share my life with for 41 years. He was so easy to talk to and get advice from. He always made me feel welcome anytime I went over to visit Him and my sister. He opened up his home throughout the years for family and friends for various occasions, making me feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother in law and friend. I miss Alan very much and look forward to the day we will be reunited in heaven!

Kowalski family, Alan was larger than life to the kids on Heberle Road, yet, as my brother noted in an earlier post, was the right combination of “cool” and kind as a role model. Thankfully we were blessed to know him and learn from him.

I remember sitting around the table at Rita and Michael‘s house about 25 years ago, all of us, there for the same purpose, To grow more in the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Al was a true rock and gentleman during all the years, past and present, he never changed. I’m beyond thankful and blessed to have been part of Sharee and Al’s life for so many years. I will truly truly miss him, but I know that he is with our Father in heaven, and that we will see him again. Much love and many blessings to the entire family. ♥️

Dear Kowalski Family
Growing up next to Alan was like having a second older brother, he let me hang with the “older” gang on Heberle Road teaching me the finer art of sketching ( u know holding on to a cars bumper while inhaling exhaust fumes). Alan was the first person I told that my mom had passed away in the hospital, his consoling helped me immensely. My condolences to the entire Kowalski Family, a good one was lost,
Bill Lozzi and entire Lozzi family

Our hearts go out to our Rochester family -- Aunt Mary, Carol and Ken, Wanda, and of course Shari, and all of Shari and Alan's beautiful offspring. We are devastated and beyond sad to learn of Alan's passing. We have sweet memories of Alan, from the time he was just a little boy, to when he was the affable head of his own growing family, visiting his Aunt Rose and Uncle Carm (and us) in Florida. Our deepest condolences to all who loved him.

Alan was the best brother in law and brother in Christ I had the privilege to have a part of my life for all these years. He loved my sister, his family,, his friends with all of his heart. Best of all was his love for Jesus Christ and he portrayed him in all aspects of his life! His abilities and artistic ways were amazing and his ability to love the way he was always welcoming and full of wisdom truly touched my life and the lives of all who knew him. I will always have the fondest memories of Alan and look forward to sharing eternity with you in Heaven !

When I first moved into the neighborhood on Heberle Rd. in 1973, I was the outsider. It was hard for me as the new kid to befriend the group of guys that had lived and known each other in the neighborhood together for most of their lives. I was welcomed with open arms by my "brothers". Alan was one of the oldest among us and he was a good friend. His brother Ken and I were among the younger of the group and we would hang with each other. Alan was always upbeat, fun, cool, and one of the guys we looked up to. My family and I moved to California in 1977. I only knew these guys, and Alan, for a mere 4 years, but the bond we formed seemed like a lifetime.
My deepest condolences to the family at this time. I was strongly affected when I had heard of Alan's passing from my closest friend, Mike Crisafulli. I just couldn't believe that one among us old pals was gone. I know he is with our Heavenly Father in perfect joy and peace... and that someday, we will all be together again.

Dear Carol and family, I was so sad to learn of Alan's passing this morning, from my cousin Carol. As you know, we were in the same class at Eastridge, and I remember Alan as being one of the nicest (and most handsome!) guys in our class. He was always so pleasant and kind, making him so easy to like. I remember seeing him years ago when visiting Koinonia one Sunday, and was thrilled to learn he was a believer and follower of Jesus. May it bring you comfort to know he is now totally healed, and resting in His loving arms. My deepest sympathy to your family, as you go through this difficult and heartbreaking time. I'll be lifting you all in prayer, for Jesus to enfold you in His arms, in a warm blanket of His Love, Comfort and Peace. In Christ's love, Karen (Root) Boyack Brock

Daddy, you were such a fun and silly grandpa to Jackson. He loves you so much and will miss your sleepovers, playing football/baseball and helping you in the yard. Thank you for being such a great role model to him and to us as parents. We will miss you so much. Xoxo
