I just learned of Vicki's passing and I am deeply saddened. I worked with her at NTID for many years as a computer technician. I was the lead technician for Open Houses which Vicki was instrumental in planning and running. Under stressful times she was ALWAYS calm and professional, especially when technical problems occurred. Her calm demeanor made my job easier. When I retired a few years ago I gave her a poster hanging on my wall. It was from a movie we both loved called , A Dog's Purpose. I had to convince her several times that I was really giving it to her. She could not believe I would part with it. I did so because of our shared love of our dogs. It was a common theme amongst our hallway chats. I am sadly shocked to hear this very kind and loving person is now gone.// Paula Zack 8/28/23

I am sorry to hear of vicki's passing. I worked for her parents on round island in the late 70's and became good friends with her. She will be missed.

I was so sorry to learn of Vickie's passing. I retired from NTID 11 years ago, and was not aware of her illness. I worked with Vicky at NTID and always enjoyed interacting with her. She was a lovely person who also had a great sense of humor. And I also observed her dedication to her work and the students at NTID. It is truly a loss for her friends and family.
