Met Roberta aka Bobbie about 20 yrs. ago thru her son David....was the beginning of a wonderful loving friendship that I will cherish till my last day...I helped her at her Day Care for 6 years and in her personal life also. We really bonded in all areas that Roberta enjoyed...cooking, baking, telling our stories, etc. When Roberta fell and broke her hip the 2nd time was pretty much when I came in to help her with housework she couldn't do, etc. and outside of having my knee replacement, was a fixture so to speak in her home. Came to know her whole family and that has been a blessing to me in all ways, even the great grandchildren...attended family get togethers, and Roberta loved that. I learned so much from Roberta as she was a very wise woman, and we had so many laughs too....I never met her husband as he has passed, but Roberta telling me about him and having his photos out was like I knew him, and her dear friends that Roberta knew since her school days, I got to meet all of them also...every Friday of the month we would all meet at a restaurant, and catch up on life and memories...I loved it and them and we enjoyed so much. There is so much more in our relationship, the good, bad n ugly, but Roberta weathered the storms with dignity and grace. I will and am missing her so very much, just a beautiful lady inside and out, so helpful to all if it was in her power to do so...Bobbie, I love you and your heart and wisdom were priceless. I know there's no more pain and I am thankful for that. Debbie B. We will see each other again for sure...xoxo
