Steve was my oldest and closest friend. We met in grade school and became instant friends. For over 62 years we remained close. Whenever, we got together, it was like we had never been apart. I fondly think of the crazy things we did as teenagers that gave his mother Betty more than enough concern. LOL While both of us were in the Navy, we managed to have Christmas together where we would tell of our exploits and Betty and Larry were laughing as hard as we were. Our last adventure was 4 years ago when we took a train trip around the country. Two friends getting together to enjoy fellowship and good times not knowing it would be the last time we would see each other.
My deepest sympathies go out to Gloria and his entire family.
Steve, you will be missed.
