Obituary of Rose M. Masucci

Rose M. Masucci (Paratore)

Penfield: Age 95, passed peacefully on January 8, 2021.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 74 years Anthony (Babe) Masucci; her parents, James, and Anna Paratore; her sister, Ann Hebing and her brothers James Paratore and baby Joseph Paratore. She is survived by her loving family, son Robert (Anne) Masucci and daughter Diane (Fred) Alchowiak. Her 5 Grandsons who she took so much pride in, Anthony (Patricia) Masucci, Robert (Cathi) Masucci, Todd (April), Jeff (Danielle) Alchowiak and Keith (Megan) Alchowiak along with 13 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Joanne Paratore, Rosemarie Randolph, and Joanne (Anthony) Fiorica, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Her family was everything to her and this past year was extremely difficult for her being isolated from the ones she loved. Her passion of playing her keyboard was her saving grace during this time. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the wonderful and loving care provided by The Hastings One Team at St. John’s Nursing Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated January 14, 2021 at 1 pm St. Joseph’s Church in Penfield. Due to COVID-19, those wishing to attend may livestream the service at www.sjcpenfield.com. A private interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If you wish, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or your local Food Bank for COVID-19 relief in Rose’s memory.
