Obituary of Clarence Barg

Barg, Clarence E. Penfield: April 4, 2009, age 96. Predeceased by his wife Mildred, daughter Nancy, granddaughter LeeAnn, and his brothers Roy and Fred. Survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Terry) Davenport, Jean Pierce; son-in-law Peter (Donna) Bondi; sister-in-law Lucille Miller; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Clarence was a retiree of Gleason Works. He was active in Boy Scouts over 50 years and received the Silver Beaver Award in recognition of his contributions. An avid outdoorsman who spent summers on Conesus Lake, he loved fishing and was an ardent bird watcher. There were no calling hours. Clarence's Memorial Service will be celebrated SATURDAY, APRIL 18th at 1 PM in the chapel of the Fairport Baptist Home (4646 Nine Mile Point Road at Whitney Road). Private interment was in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lifetime Care Hospice, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
