My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Clarence Barg. My parents Neal and Shirley VanDekken have spent quite a bit of time with Clarence and enjoyed every moment that they had. He was a wonderful man to work for and a true friend. I've known Clarence thru my parents since I was a little girl and now working at Gleason for 25 years have enjoyed his stories and his help in working with the historian group here on names and events. He truly enjoyed his life. May he rest in eternal peace. He will be missed by all here at work and at home.

Dear Jeannie: This old "Clio" sister wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to you and your family over the loss of your Father. I got to know you back many years at Geneseo. You had lost your sister, Nancy, and my sister, Jean, had just passed away. We often talked and cried on each other shoulders. Not sure that we ever figured out "why" our sisters were taken at such a young age, but we shared that common bond which still holds today. Time has passed and now your Dad can be with his wife and daughter, whom I am sure he is so happy to be united with in Heaven. Sounds like Clarence was quite the guy and I know that you were a wonderful daughter for him. Lots of love from an old friend.
