Obituary of Thomas Koziol

Koziol, Thomas T. Fairport: Born June 5, 1918; passed away June 3, 2014, at age 95. Predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Ben and Joseph. Survived by son Raymond; sister Dolores (Ed) Casey; many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada; and his devoted companion of 37 years, Diana Lauria. With a personal philosophy of consistency, Tom was an avid seeker of knowledge who dedicated himself to an ethical life principled on intelligence and thoughtfulness. During WW II he served in the U.S. Army in North Africa and Anzio, Italy, in reconnaissance. Tom reconnected with his WW II memories as an Honor Flight participant in June 2012. He was a member of VFW Post 8495 in Fairport, NY, and a retiree of Delco Products of Rochester, NY. Special thanks to caregivers and staff at Aaron Manor who treated Tom with compassion and respect.
