Obituary of Paulette Shannon

Shannon, Paulette M. DeLand, FL: Age 68, passed away peacefully at her home in DeLand, FL on April 12, 2014. A devoted wife & mother, Paulette was born Sept. 17, 1945. She graduated from Monroe High in 1963. Paulette spent 30 years working in distribution, retiring from Georgia Pacific in 1999. For many years after retirement Paulette & her husband Marshall (Marty), of 48 years, split their time between Sodus Pt, NY & DeLand, FL, where she spent many hours by the pool reading & enjoying the sunshine. She had a great affection for games of chance & especially loved playing bingo. Paulette is survived by her husband, Marty Shannon; children, James (Deb) Shannon, Marshall (Nan) Shannon, Michele (Tom) Brodnicki, Kristine (Carl) Schulte; grandchildren, Selina (Jason), Ian, Taryn, Marshall, Christopher, Aaron & Margarete; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Samantha, Skylar & Matthew; siblings, James Junod, Jane Hamel Blais & William Junod; sisters-in-law, Myla Junod & Janet Juneau; & several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Jane Junod; & brothers, Donald & George. Paulette will be deeply missed. Family & friends may call 4-8 PM on Fri., May 23 at Falvo Funeral Home in Webster, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rte. 250). A memorial service will be held at Falvo"s on Sat., May 24 at 11 AM. Memorial donations in memory of Paulette may be made to the American Lung Association .
