Obituary of James Carlin MD

Carlin, James, MD Penfield: Born Dec. 30, 1928, passed away Feb. 21, 2014, at age 85. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mrs. Elizabeth (Ruh) Carlin; his children, Beth, and Jim (Annie) Carlin; grandchildren, Jim & Rebecca Carlin; his sister, Helen; also many nieces and nephews. Jim graduated from the University of Buffalo Medical School, served in the Navy for 2 years in Korea & Japan. He had a family practice in Internal Medicine for 10 years in Chili, then worked at Kodak Office for 28 years as Assistant Medical Director. Our heartfelt gratitude to the staff on the Memory Care Unit at the Friendly Home for the loving care and thoughtfulness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association , 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620. There will be no prior calling hours. Jim's Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 28 at 11 AM in St. Thomas More Church (2617 East Ave.) Inurnment, White Haven Memorial Park.
