I have considered Charlie friend since Whipple Lane Elementary School days...one of those people in one's life, like Jim Nowak, we expect to "always to there" and wish so much they could be. I am sooo glad to say I grew up knowing/having Charlie as part of my life. I am very sorry for the family's loss, and for ours.

We did not keep in touch but Charlie was one of those people you remember. So bright and friendly, he was easily one of the most popular folks in school. From time to time, new of Charlie's accomplishments filtered through to me and I was always pleased for him and never surprised that he achieved success in life. A favorite memory- One year, for the talent show, Charlie and Steve Lipetz came up with a skit that they invited me to take part in. Charlie played the Maxwell House Coffee jingle on the piano while Steve muted the strings so that it sounded like a coffee pot. I "sang" the jingle. So much fun! My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He was one in a million!
