DiProjetto, Joseph M. "Joe Dee" Penfield: December 22, 2013. Age 89. Predeceased by brothers, Samuel and John; sister, Carmella Sciarabba and son, Samuel. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Rose (Bisbano); son, Carl A. (Pauline R.) DiProjetto; daughter, Rosalie (Louis) Alaimo; daughter-in-law, Susan DiProjetto; granddaughters, Gina (Gianluca) Russo, Wendy (Jim) Thomas; grandsons, Louis (Lisa) Alaimo, Joseph (Kathryn) DiProjetto, Carl A. DiProjetto, Jr; great grandchldren, Gabriella, Luca, Antonio, Nina and Sammy; God-daughter, Jeanette Bellanca; several nieces and nephews. Joe was a WWII veteran in the 10th Mountain Division and a recipient of the Purple Heart. No prior calling hours. On Friday, please meet the family at St. Ambrose Church for Joe's Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to the Diabetes Foundation in his memory. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
