Sholts, Jr., Ralph Weslie
Penfield: 81: passed away on November 9, 2013, at the Shepherd Home in Penfield, NY, after a short illness. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Weslie Sholts and Beulah Gallagher Sholts of Oregon, WI.
Ralph is survived by his wife Paula of 53 years; his daughters, Carrie (John) Pirie of Ellicott City, MD, Kelly Sholts of Rochester, NY, Cami (Larry) LaLonde of Avon, NY; his brother Erwin (Joyce) Sholts and sisters Jean (Mark) Hanson and Joan Anderson all of Oregon, WI; his grandchildren, Ben Kitzel, Lehna Kitzel and Ava Pirie; as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Ralph grew up on a dairy farm in Oregon, Wisconsin. After serving for years in the Navy, Ralph attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Upon graduation, Ralph accepted a position with Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he worked for ten years. In 1970, Ralph and his family moved to Webster, NY, after he accepted a position with Xerox Corporation. Ralph worked for Xerox for 28 years until he retired in 1998.
Ralph loved camping, bird watching, dogs and wood carving. He was a member and past president of the Genesee Valley Woodcarver's Club.

Calling hours will be held on Monday November 18 from 4-7P.M. at the Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fpt. Nine Mile Point Road.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 P. M. in the funeral home.
