Predeceased by his parents, Gil & Flor Serrano.
Gilberto was born in Manati, Puerto Rico.
Survived by his wife, Judee Lewandowski; daughters, Amanda Alvarado & Diadette Serrano; sons, Reuben, Gilberto, David, & Jonas Serrano; sisters, Minerva Serrano, Carmen Cruz & Antonia Serrano; seven grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
Gilberto received the Purple Heart after serving in the Army in Vietnam.
Family and friends may call Fri. Oct. 25, 4-8 PM at 173 Langford Rd. 14615.
Gilberto's funeral mass will be held 9 AM. SAT. at The Cathedral Community @ Sacred Heart Cathedral (Flower City Pk.). Interment private.
