I worked with Carm at Family Learning Center. The students were older, maybe 20-40 years old. The young ones were in his classes. We had a party in his room for Christmas one year and the students did all the decorating and Carm shared the cooking with us. It was obvious that he was so happy with his students and they loved him. Just being around him gave you a sense of security and comfort and the students could sense that. I was so sad when he died and under such terrible circumstances. I hope you remember him as I do - happy, joke telling, comforting to the students and expecting their best work. Rest well my friend.

Peter - you are SO missed! You were a light in the lives of so many people and I am so priviledged to have known you. I will never forget your bright smile, your quirky manner, and infectious laugh! I'll always treasure the moments I had as a consultant teacher with you - the annual assessments, the writing prep and most of all the MacBeth unit and earning the honor of being one of the Evil Witches with Ms. Metras and Minster!
