Obituary of Phillip Proeto

Phillip Proeto, age 94, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024.

A proud veteran, Phillip served his country with dedication before returning home to pursue a career as a car body mechanic. Phillip found joy in photography, carpentry, and hunting throughout his life.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty, of 59 years. He is survived by his children; Glenn (Kathie), Lorna (Wayne), Joyce (Chris), and Barb; Grandchildren, Scott (Kim), Steven, Michelle (Dan), Valerie (Aaron), Ryan, and Jacob (Britani); Great-grandchildren: Kelly Rose, Karly May, Amber, Jonathon, Jonah, Ben, and Paul and lifelong friend, Joe Gagliano.

Phillip was cared for at the Jewish Home of Rochester, where the dedicated staff treated him with kindness and respect, ensuring his final chapter was filled with dignity and warmth. His family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care he received there.
