Obituary of George Maderer

Maderer, George (Jerry) Rochester: May 16, 2013 at age 71. Survived by his beloved wife, Stella, of 47 years, and family members Nicholas, Corinne and David, Michael, Samantha and Thyda, and nephew David. George was a 2002 retiree of Alstom where he worked as an electrical engineer and a manager. He was an active volunteer at CASH and the Community Child Care Center. His interests included everything from astrophysics to the arts and fishing. His quiet demeanor did not mask his intellectuality, curiosity or humor. He was a patient mentor of many. George demonstrated integrity, self-control and technical knowledge in an unassuming, kind manner. In keeping with George's wishes there will be no calling hours or service.
