Obituary of Julia Lee F. Campbell
Julia Lee French Campbell resident of Webster NY since 2018 died Monday May 6, 2024. She was born in Trenton, NJ and graduated from Middlebury College. While attending Middlebury College she was a member and President of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She loved to teach and loved students particularly teaching English to students as a second language. Julia enjoyed golf, paddle tennis and playing bridge. She married Robert M. Campbell Jr. in 1957 in Trenton, NJ and later moved to Belle Mead, NJ where she reared 3 sons. She is survived by her husband Robert M. Campbell Jr. who was vice President of Manchem Inc. and President of Campbell & Sons Builders. She is also survived by her sons Robert M. Campbell III (born in Frankfurt, Germany), William David Campbell(born in Princeton, NJ), and Frederick Arthur Campbell (born in Des Plaines, IL) married to Maura H. Campbell; 5 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Krause and Suzanne Grounds.
While in Belle Mead, Mrs. Campbell was President of the Princeton Hospital Fete, a substitute teacher at Montgomery High School, and teacher of English as a second language both privately and for Berlitz. Mr. & Mrs. Campbell retired and moved to Bristol, NH in 2004, before moving to Webster, NY in 2018.
Calling hours will be Saturday May 18 from 1:00-3:00 at FalvoFuneral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Road, Webster, NY 14580. Interment of cremains will be in Hope cemetery in Worcester, MA at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Breast Cancer Foundation www.UBCF.org.
