I met Heather in 1984, when she had just turned 21. I was a little older but certainly no wiser. We went through crushes, love, jobs, dentists, weddings, babies, divorces, deaths, home repairs, pets, antiquing, lambing seasons, crafts, way too much coffee, fruitcakes, and so much laughter. Grief is bitter, but oh, what joy we shared.
Max and Dulcie, your momma was my best adulting friend, and the world is less without her.
