Didn't know Jim extremely well in high school, but I do have fond memories of him from the classes we were in together, and when our paths crossed. A warm, caring person who was easy to relate to.

I "met" Jim nine years ago when I booked a trip for him to Spain. Over the years, I helped plan more than a dozen trips for him and our relationship become personal. I always enjoyed sharing travel stories with him, swapping photos, and catching up. I always hoped one day we'd meet in person. My heart goes out to his family, including Michael and Roberta.

Six yrs ago, after my sweet Mom died, her house needed to be sold. My brother and I had the daunting task of emptying the house to put it on the market. In the garage were 50 sealed boxes that came from our Grandmother’s estate; I remember my Mom saying it was probably the stuff left in drawers and cabinets. I decided to have a picnic, invite the cousins and have them take anything they wanted or would use. We came across forms used to make cannolis. Looked like they had never been used. We gave these to Jim; he was the only one that just might try them out! Don’t know if you gave it a whirl Jim but we’re sure if you did, they were wonderful!… Love you, Jimmy - your smile lit up the room! Cuz, Annmarie

Every year on my birthday Jim brought me a HUGE poinsettia and I would make him a cannoli cake for his birthday. We always loved seeing Jim and Michael at Bacco’s. Jim always had a smile on his face and I will miss living vicariously through his Facebook travel stories.

I still remember that I met Jim when I was traveling in Greece. I was having dinner by myself, and Jim came over to ask me if he could join me for dinner. I said "Sure" so Jim and Michael sat down with me. We started chatting about marketing and traveling and it turned out to be a 5 year long friendship. I will always remember Jim's smile and chivalry. Thank you for your friendship. Rest in peace, Uncle Jim ❤
