My deepest condolences to Ryan’s family and friends. I started the academy with Ryan on September 11, 2017 at U of R Department of Public Safety and worked the same shift all the up until July 2022 when I left the Department. Ryan was very approachable and fun to be around with, he was also helpful and encouraging. I will never forget when we had to do the 1.5 miles run (I’m not much of a runner) and Ryan would be right there for me as he completed his 1.5 miles then to go back to encourage me the rest of the way so I could complete it as well. Ryan will be greatly missed, rest easy bud. Your former colleague and friend, Guzman.
