My best memories of uncle Frankie are throwing a baseball. I remember he would throw pop fly’s to me so damn high. It was amazing to me. One day we were at a redwings game and he threw the ball like 80 mph and it all made sense. He always supported me and my brothers in sports.

uncle Frankie and i grew up at Silver stadium washing uniforms and shining cleats making a dollar a day . we also got out on the field with the players and shagged balls and i even put on the catchers gear and caught for one of the players . that's where we got our baseball prowess .

Frank called me Mom. With Barb's passing, I thought I would take care of him. But he did more for me than I ever could have for him. He regularly inquired after my well being, always offered help with any issue, generously provided financial help, thought of me with caring little special gifts, etc. He never failed to say "I love you" when texting, calling, or in person.
I recall, fondly, our last Bingo adventure, his frustration at my not answering my phone, his awesome chicken wings... and I will never ever forget the 'shrinky dinks' incident during family game time!
We always prayed for each other and he is now at home, with Jesus, in heaven; "I will see you when I get there, Frankie!"
Love,
"Mom"
