Obituary of Andrea R. Pascuzzi

Andrea Rose Pascuzzi of Penfield, NY  passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 27, 2023 at age 52.  Andrea was born on July 5, 1970 to James H. Webb and Margaret (Molly) Webb at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Andrea is survived by her husband of 16 years Mark Pascuzzi, daughter Carly Pascuzzi, step-son Nicolas Pascuzzi, step-daughter Mia Pascuzzi, mother Margaret (Lee Rodamaker) Webb,  father James (Cathy Johnson) Webb, sister Holly (Ron) Carroll,  brother James D. Webb and sister Taryn (Jay) Coleman, Tammy (Russ) Wood and Debbie (Shawn) Orchard.  In addition, she had many nieces and nephews, other extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Andrea was a graduate of Avon High School class of 1988 and earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and psychology  from the University of Rochester in 1992.  She went on to earn a master's degree in Education from Nazareth College, and later earned a second master’s degree in educational leadership from St. John Fisher College.  Andrea dedicated her entire career in education to helping the less fortunate, especially children with special needs.  Andrea had spent almost 20 years with the Spencerport School District, first as Coordinator of Special Education, and for the past 4 + years as Director of Special Education.  In addition to leading the Special Education Department, she was the district co-coordinator of the Trauma Illness Grief (TIG) team and served on the District Equity and Wellness Committees. She took great pride in connecting with students and their families and made a lasting, positive impact on everyone she came in contact with.

Andrea’s smile would light up a room and was reflective of her kind, compassionate soul.  She always looked out for others and offered grace and kindness to everyone she met.  Anyone who knew Andrea, knew she was the most loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and cousin a family could ask for. Her family and friends  meant more to her than anything else in the world. She will be greatly missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loves her.

Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport 9 Mile Point Road Webster, NY on Friday, February 3rd from 1 PM to 7 PM.  A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 4th at 10 AM at the Spiritus Christi Church located at 121 N. Fitzhugh Street Rochester, NY.
