Anthony Andrew Affronti

WEBSTER: Passed peacefully on September 8, 2022, at the age of 100.

He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and devoted husband.

Born in Geneseo, NY on January 15, 1922, son of the late Anthony Affronti and Anna Portanova Affronti. He proudly served our country in the Army, during WWII. After his service, he married Mary (Pisaro) Affronti. They settled in Rochester, NY where they raised their two children, and celebrated 70 years of marriage. They also enjoyed traveling to Europe along with residing in Florida. 

Anthony was known for his sharp mind, integrity, and kindness. His success was real estate, owning several properties and businesses including Abbotts frozen custard. 

Predeceased by his wife, Mary, his son, Anthony and his sister, Louise Pisaro. He is survived by his daughter, Anne, loving “Papa” to Stephanie (Steve) Ruffino, Andrea Perrone, and Danielle Miller; Great-grandchildren, Alaina, Alissandra, Nathan, Chase, & Christopher; Sister-in-law, Patricia Pisaro, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family would like to thank Anthony’s caregivers, especially FS Connection LLC. Also, his doctors from Sands Constellation Heart Institute. Dr. Richard Constantino, Dr. Andrew Pederzolli, Dr. Dmitry Chuprun, and Meghan Stuver-PA for their compassionate care. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, September 13 at St. Rita’s Church (1008 Maple Dr. Webster) Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to www.honorflightrochester.org
