Bob has been a friend for over 50 years. We competed with or against each other in softball, basketball, flag football, golf and bowling. And we celebrated our victories or drowned our losses with copious amounts of beer after each contest. Above all Bob was a good listener and was always interested in what others had to say. He made me feel like my opinions counted.

Receiving this email of Bob's passing saddened my heart today. My condolence to Ruthie and the entire family. Bob was a great manager and friend to me. I remember all the good times mostly. We worked hard and fellowship outside of work. He helped me get through my divorce and I will always be grateful to him. I would not have made it without his advice and friendship. Rest peacefully. Although distance kept us apart, l never forgot the feeling of your presence. It was always a big deal when, "Uncle Bob and Aunt Ruth" were coming down to visit. You were larger than life to us growing up. May the Lord watch over your family until they join you at his side.

I have known Bob since my first day at Xerox in 1969. He was the first Manager who saw something in me. His guidance and mentorship guided me through my 42 year career. Our sincerest condolences to Ruth, Rob, Chris & their families & the Ryder family, as well. Bob & Ruth always spoke with great love & admiration for their children, spouses & their very special grandchildren! Bob will be missed by so many friends, many of whom still live on Lauren Ct., where our family had the pleasure of having such great memories of watching their family of five & our family of six become very good neighbors. My husband, Bob & I had some wonderful times with the Wensley family, & Bob was such a great guy to call a friend! He had an amazingly great sense of humor that would resonate so quickly towards others that made one just burst out in laughter!! His kindness to help whenever he could is definitely a trait we shall never forget. What a kindhearted gentleman that will be missed by so many. Rest In Peace, our friend.
