Our deepest condolences on the passing of Sam. No Sea Breeze memory would be complete without Sam and Richard at the store. Sam enjoyed a good laugh more than anybody. Dear Linda & Family, Sam made everyone smile & everything around him joyous. I remember the times when you “youngsters” used to hang out w/my mom & dad (Gloria & Ed Pullen) & how the guys especially, cracked each other up! You’ve got quite angel there. Sam’s presence was larger than life—big guy, big smile, big laugh, big heart…and one of the best practical jokers of all time! I’m embarrassed to admit I fell for every one of them! Sam will be deeply missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him, but he will never, ever be forgotten. May the love that surrounded Sam now surround you and give you comfort and peace. I loved Sam! When I was a kid growing up in Seabreeze his store was fun to hang around. He gave me money to sweep his parking lot. Which I spent at the store. He knew I would spend there too. God bless you folks.

So very sorry for your family's loss. As a young mother living nearby to the store, I made nightly trips to buy Hostess cupcakes and share a word with Sam. Fond memories of the Lombardo store. Rest in peace.

I will always remember Sam for his expressions. A smirk, a smile, a short sentence. Sam was a good guy who got the message across without fanfare. In this day and age of so much negativity, a 'good guy' is what we need most. His family and friends will miss this good guy. And so will the world. We need more good guys; we need more Sams.

My deepest condolences to The family. I pray for comfort for all who knew him. He shot from the hip, sugar coated nothing. The COVID prevented me from seeing my friend, now that I live back in Rochester, but when I lived out west I would call Sam from time to time, with my shenanigans. Placing an order for a Roast Beef sub, hold the Polo Cologne. His laugh was infectious and he was old school. Been through thick & thin with Sam. He will be missed. It was a privilege to have known him. Respectfully, Steve Cohen

So very sorry for the family's loss. Heaven gained another angel.. embarrassing moment Sam came in where I worked to cash in a $50 gift certificate and I screwed up the whole order./and asked for nothing in return . Rest in peace now Mr. Lombardo.
