Donata (Giuseppina) Capozzo

Greece, NY: Passed away June 6, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband Antonio Capozzo, her parents (Ermanno and Concetta Raimondo), and several sisters and a brother. Survived by her daughter, Filomena (Joe) Privitera; Granddaughters Enza (Jason) West, Gisella (Eric) Hoffman, and Great-Grandchildren Ella and Alex West, Tyler, and Hunter Hoffman.

Donata grew up in a small town called San Girogio La Molara in Naples, where she met her husband, Antonio. Once they started their family, they moved to Buenos Aries where she was a homemaker, and several years later to the United States of America where they decided to settle. She took her title Nonna and Biznonna seriously. She had a great sense of humor and loved her family fiercely. She will be missed but she is finally at peace with the love of her life, Antonio.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.

There will be no prior calling hours. A funeral mass celebration will be held Friday, June 18 at 9:30am at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road, Rochester, NY, followed by a private Entombment.
