Died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at age 91. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Maltese; and her daughters, Gay Ann Marino & Kathy Maltese. Survived by son, Donald Maltese; her daughters, Felecia (Leonard) LaScolea and MaryJane Maltese; grandchildren, Jim (Crissy) Marino, Jason (Cheri) LaScolea, Jamie (Rebecca) LaScolea, Rebecca (Douglas) Rose, Michael Maltese, Brad (Gabby) LaScolea, Elizabeth Maltese & Paul LaScolea; great-grandchildren, Dillon & Ava Rose, Julia & Ryan Marino, Abby & Noah LaScolea, and Lucca LaScolea; brother, Robert (Rena) Grassi; sisters-in-law, Rose & Patricia Grassi; also several nieces, nephews & dear friends. Mary was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was sweet and loving to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever remain in our hearts.

On Friday, please meet the family at 10:30 AM in Peace of Christ at St. Ambrose Church (Culver Rd. at Empire Blvd.) for the Celebration of her Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society, 1650 South Ave., Ste. 100, Roch., 14620. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
A special thank you to Dr.'s Pamela Sloan, Marc Odorisi, and all the physicians, nurses and staff of Strong Memorial Hospital Units 8-1400, 6-1200, 3-1800 and 8-1600 for their loving care and concern for Mary during her last 3 weeks of life.
