Rose Marie Mongelli (Accorso-Rienti)

Charlotte/Greece: At the tender age of 95 she passed away on April 25, 2021. Predeceased by her parents Paul & Frances Accorso; husbands Frank Rienti & Frank Mongelli and brother & sister-in-law Sam & Marian Accorso. Survived by her brother John (Kathleen) Accorso; 11 nieces & nephews: Tom and Doreen Robb, Donna Accorso, Lorraine Watson, Paul and Sue Accorso, Patricia Accorso, Francine Accorso, Nicole Accorso, Michael Accorso and Michelle Sapere; 10 great-nieces & nephews: Shannon Robb, Stephen Robb, Sherilyn and Lucas Hendrickson, Stephen Tamino, Sam Accorso, Zondra Accorso, Nicholas Accorso, Dillinger Sapere and Sallinger Sapere; many cousins and dear friends including the staff at The Legacy.

Rose was a lifelong Charlotte/Greece native who enjoyed golf, bowling, travel, dancing and singing. Rose and her first husband owned and operated the Ace Superette in Charlotte for over 25 years. She had a gusto for life and a motor that never stopped; not until 3 years ago when she did begin to slow down. She loved family above all else and will be greatly missed by all. Most recently, Rose was a resident at The Legacy on Mt. Read Blvd. A special “thank you” to Nikki Henning, Renee Wolf, Amanda McKinley & Angela Hart LaMarca, her caregivers with whom she became very close.

Calling hours FRI 4-7 pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rte. 250) Webster. Masks Required. On SAT please meet the family 10:30 am at Holy Cross Church (4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612) for the celebration of her Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to The Genetaska Club (c/o Judy Krueger 1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14609) Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
