Obituary of Patricia A. Marjama

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Owen Marjama and daughter Pam Lahdenpera, She leaves behind daughters, Robin St. George, Dr. Jill Marjama-Lyons; 5 granddaughters, Erica, Zena, Nina, Mikela, and Lindsay; 3 great grandchildren, Calina, Natalia, and Austin

Pat was a born teacher.  After finishing her studies in literacy education and educational administration at Nazareth College, and SUNY Brockport, she spent the duration of her career as a devoted educator and instructional leader in the Rochester City School District. During her 30+ years as an educator, she specialized in literacy for non-English language speakers as well as implementing teacher development programs and mentorships throughout the district.

Throughout her entire life, Pat was a lover of animals, especially large breed dogs.  As a longtime resident of Fairport, NY Lollypop Farm was an establishment near and dear to her heart. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to help animals in need at: Give Today - Lollypop Farm
