Obituary of JoAnn Easton

JoAnn "Lala" Easton (Polito)

Gates - December 30, 2020 Age of 84.

Sadly, she passed away alone in her nursing home without her family by her side from complications of Covid-19.

Born October 10, 1936. Daughter of the late Jane Midnight and Joseph Polito. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Carleton Easton Jr. and brother, Leonard Polito. She is survived by her devoted sister, Janice Marconi (Lawrence) who loved her dearly & tended to her every need. Grandchildren Kaylyn Easton (Matthew) of Colorado and Kyle Easton (Daria) of Washington.

Nieces and nephews, Lauren Massimi (Anthony), Lenore Zwetsch (Marconi) of Florida, Joseph Marconi (Cheryl), Jason Polito, Nicole Polito, Jesse Polito (deceased). Many Great nieces & nephews Jenna Sullivan (Charles), Jeffrey Goodrich (Corinne), Courtney Zwetsch, Connor Zwetsch, Ryan Zwetsch, Jana Polito, Gia Polito, Lexa Polito, Krista Marconi (Justin Smith), Jonathan Marconi, Anthony Massimi & 6 Great Great nieces & nephews Sadie, Jaycee, Joshua, Judah, Cole & Fiona …also her dearest lifelong friend Rita Turrie.

JoAnn was born & raised in Rochester. She and her husband lived and worked many years in Wyandotte, Michigan. They moved to Winterhaven, Florida after she retired from her position as the Deputy Town Clerk of Gates in 2001. She adopted and loved many furbabies in her life. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, lunching with her Sorority Sisters and Birthday Club friends from childhood but loved spending time with her family the most!

NO CALLING HOURS. Family will honor her with a private burial service. She will be laid to rest at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
