Comella Family,
Sincere heartfelt condolences.
Such a great guy.
Chuck would start his mornings off often by passing through the Cafeteria and stop by to chat.
Hard dedicated worker.
Always willing to help someone that needed a hand.
He loved to talk about his Granddaughter and was so proud of her.
He would look forward to her visits.
A devoted Son to caring for his Mother.
You will be missed my friend.

I was thankful to see Chuck a few weeks ago when he came in to FHS to say hello. He always cared about others. I worked with him for the past 10 years most Saturdays during the school year as he was always helpful in opening doors and supporting students in the Drama program at Fairport High School. Chuck loved to know we were building sets here, and was always friendly to everyone; patient with parent requests to help with set ups and tear downs for events. He was truly an "ultimate supporter" in his work, and took time to talk to people, to get to know them, and share his stories. As a storyteller, he made life enjoyable with his conversation and friendliness. I really enjoyed his friendship.
I will miss our conversations about music and hearing about the many events he worked in his awesome life. I enjoyed hearing about his children (and grandchildren), and how proud he was of his son. I won't forget the good feeling I had when seeing his mustang parked at school and knowing Chuck "was on shift" at the school. Early in my career, Chuck was always around to help - a few times students would knock over a can of paint, or make a mess. He understood children, and never got mad, always kept his cool here. He supported over a thousand students over the years who were specifically involved in building sets and setting up for shows over the past decade. Chuck was a wonderful stagehand-- I will remember him.
