Diane Sharp Abbott

Ontario: Passed away peacefully at home on November 5th, 2020 with her adoring family by her side after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Diane was born on December 24th, 1956 in Rochester, NY to Jene and Marlene Sharp. Survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, David; daughters’ Amy (Dan) O’Neill and Melissa (Jon) Edwards; mother Marlene Sharp; sister Lori (Randy) Patton; five grandchildren (Chris, Ben, Matt, Logan and Camden), mother in law Nancy (Al) Campbell, sister in-laws’ Dorothy Miller, Dawn (Mark) Leonhard, and Dana Spinelli and many other relatives. She is pre-deceased by her father, Jene Sharp.

Diane loved spending time with her family, especially at Sunset Park. She enjoyed cooking family dinners, gardening, fishing, sunning on the boat, spending time with friends, watching her grandkids, playing cards, and hitting up the casino with her husband. Diane enjoyed working as an IT Computer Specialist for over 35 years. In her free time, she loved to shop and crochet. Diane absolutely adored her two cats: Target and Midnight. She was a kind, giving and treasured friend who took extraordinary pride in her family. Diane truly was a saint and always put others before herself.

Family and friends may call Tuesday 11/10 from 4-8pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd (Rte.250) Webster, NY 14580. Burial services will be Wednesday 11/11 at 11am at Furnaceville Cemetery in Ontario, NY.
