Ruth Ann Hubner
July 10, 1926 - October 10, 2020

Ruth Ann Holehan Hubner, previously of Utica, NY, passed away Sat., Oct 10th in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her devoted family.
Predeceased by her loving spouse and best friend, Joseph G. Hubner, her very close four siblings and son-in-law Asi Sveinsson. She leaves behind her children, Kathy (Dick) Zuidema, Mary Jo Wells, Janice (Fred) Bertoni, Ann Hubner, Thomas J. Hubner, John (Laura) Hubner, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many friends.

Ruth was a proud retired nurse who graduated from the first class at the St. Mary Hospital’s cadet program in 1947. She had many noted accomplishments during her life some of which include being a member of Durand Eastman Ladies golf league for 50 years, an enthusiastic “Super” Yankees fan and never missed her daily crossword puzzle from the Democrat and Chronicle.

Ruth’s wit, humor and feisty personality remained with her throughout her final days. 

Friends may call at Falvo Funeral Home, (1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster NY 14580) Tues., Oct. 13, 2020 from 4:00pm-7:00 PM. There will be a mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, Brett Rd., Rochester, NY 14609 Wed., Oct. 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM .
