Obituary of Teodosia Colon

Teodosia Colon, (87) of Rochester, New York, passed away on September 23, 2020. 

Teodosia was born on April 16, 1933 in Cidra, Puerto Rico (PR) to the late Juan and Evangelista Colon.  She is predeceased in death by her husband, Victor Huertas and sons Angel and Ismael Vargas.  She is survived by her brothers, Luis Colon (Nydia) of Rochester and Edel Colon (Elizabeth) of PR; sisters Felicita Colon (Mercedes) of PR and Monserrates Colon of PR.  She is also survived by her daughters Maria Elena Vargas of Rochester and Maria Virginia Lopez (Wilfredo) of Valrico, Florida; sons Miguel Vargas (Malai) of Hilton and Carlos Vargas of Rochester; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

Calling hours will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd, Webster, NY 14580 from 4PM to 7PM.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at St. Michael’s Church, 859 North Clinton Ave. at 11AM, with a public viewing from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave., Rochester, NY 14612.
