Obituary of Lore A. Wettlaufer

Lore A. Wettlaufer (Westerhaus) 

Webster: September 24, 2020, Age 91.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Werner K (Jerry)Wettlaufer.  Loving Mother to her children, Christine (Jeff) Stuart, Ariane (Dan) Recchia, Myriam (Derek) Janke, Vanessa (Robert) Sartini-Derrick; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Ashley, (Jack and Luke), Caitlyn, Andrea, Jillian, Aubrey (Eden), Ethan, Cameron, Jacob, Marlena and Mya.

Lore so bravely came over by ship, from Bad Salzuflen, Germany at age 25 to marry our loving father, starting a life so vastly different from her home.  A devoted Wife and Mother, always pushing her children towards a higher education, respecting, and caring for nature and having a love of the arts.

Thankfully at peace and together again with Jerry.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 3, 2020, 12-1:30 pm followed by a Prayer Service at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rte. 250) Webster. 
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Lollypop Farms, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450, or St. Ann’s, 1500 Portland Ave, Rochester, 14621.  Interment, Webster Union Cemetery.
