Cosmo Viola
Pittsford - Born in Gaeta, Italy April 15,1933. With great sadness, Cosmo was called home by the Lord peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87.
Predeceased by parents Raffaele & Linda Viola & his sisters Rose (Aurelio) Lovaste, Sr. Bernardetta (Order of the Carmelites).
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 59 years Maria; children Dr. Ralph (Doreen) Viola, Daniel (Deanne) Viola, and Linda (Lawrence) Walworth. Grandchildren Cosmo, Daniel, Anthony, and Adele. Brother-in-law & sister-in-law Theodore (Rose) Boccuzzi; Sister-in-law Elisa Salemme; many nieces, nephews & friends.
Cosmo arrived in America on May 1, 1951 with dreams and ambitions. He went into construction and became a successful home builder. He was a longtime member of Rochester West Central Kiwanis. He was a good friend to all that knew him.
Cosmo was a consummate gentleman whose family was the center of his life. He always had a smile on his face which made others enjoy being around him. Cosmo will be missed by all who knew him.
His family is eternally grateful to have had him as a husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle & friend.
Calling hours Wednesday 2-7 pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250) Webster. Cosmo's Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 1 pm at St. Louis Church 64 S. Main St., Pittsford 14534 . Private Entombment for immediate family only at White Haven Memorial Park.
