Obituary of Mary Alyce Erb
Our loving mother, Mary Alyce Erb, age 94, passed away peacefully March 26, 2020. Born in Auburn, NY and raised in Attica, NY, Mary moved to Rochester in 1945 where she attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She met her husband, Bob following WWII and devoted her life to her 4 children and grandchildren. She was active in many charitable groups including Holy Trinity Church (choir), St. Mary’s Hospital, St Margaret Mary’s and Bishop Kearney High School parent association. Mary lived a full life and brought joy, song and laughter to so many.
Mary was predeceased by loving husband, Robert W. Erb and beloved grandson, Christopher Cadieux. Surviving are brother, L. Thomas Hussey, children James (Annie Koehler), Thomas (Cherie), Rosemary (Don Kuebel), Raymond (Elizabeth), Grandchildren, Teresa (Bart), Michelle, Michael (Megan), Katie (Lloyd), Kelly (Anthony), Brian Cadieux, Roberto and Anthony, 8 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Sister Gertrude Erb, RSM.
