I enjoyed the few, but always fun hours spent with Dave, usually just before or just after I was stealing Mary away for girl-time in an effort to escape Mary’s and my mutually high-tension work obligations. Dave was always a steady, gentlemanly presence for two women who probably seemed on the verge of utter anarchy by cocktail hour on Friday afternoons.
I appreciate every moment you let me borrow of your wife’s time, Dave, and I wish you eternal peace.

I enjoyed seeing his active stewardship on the Keuka Outlet Trail, and his friendship with my brother, Dan.
