Obituary of Alexander Jeffrey Rapp

Alexander Jeffrey Rapp, age 12, of Fairport, passed away Tuesday night. Alex was born in Dearborn, Michigan to mother Margaret Rapp and father Jeffrey Rapp.

Alex was in 7th grade. He enjoyed reading books, playing video games, playing the trumpet in his school band, building creations in tech club, Boy Scouts, and being outdoors. Alex was a quiet boy with a big heart. He was a loving and caring child to all who knew him. 

Alex is survived by his father Jeffrey Rapp (fiance April Granata), mother Margaret Rapp (fiance James Evans), siblings Kara Cotturone, Connor Rapp, and Aedan Evans, grandmother Marilyn Hryhorenko, grandmother Linda Rapp, Grandma and Pa Smith, Grandma and PopPop Evans, Uncle Ronald Rapp, Uncle and Aunt Matthew (Lindsay LaVigne) Rapp, Aunt Jennifer Hryhorenko, Uncle Jeffrey Hryhorenko, Aunt Colleen, cousins Zenon, Zoey, Matthew, Sarah, Hannah, Renee, Alyssa, Kaiden, and beloved kitty Winnie. 

Alex was predeceased by a sister Megan Rapp, Uncle John Hryhorenko, Grandfather Leonard Hryhorenko, and Grandfather Warren Rapp.

A wake will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250) Webster, NY  on November 5 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will take place on November 6, 2019, 9am at Falvo Funeral Home followed by burial at White Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Alex’s family asks that donations be made to a cause very near and dear to Alex’s heart: Boy Scout Troop 325, c/o St. John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450.
