Laurie was a beautiful, giving soul who made her family, friends, and Excellus coworkers laugh. She skillfully and compassionately cared for so many over the years as a registered nurse. She served her country in the US Army between 1986-1994. She inspired everyone who knew her as they witnessed her strength and endurance in facing the challenges that cancer brought to her. Through it all, she continued to work, run races, and cheer at all of Andrew and Ryan's sports events. The most precious gift from Laurie was the dedication and loving attention she gave to her sons. She was an incredible mother and partner.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 28th at 10 AM at Spiritus Christi Church 121 N. Fitzhugh St Rochester. All are welcome to celebrate Laurie's life.
