Our family absolutely loved Donna. She was an amazing care giver to our dogs and cats. She was always someone we could trust to take care of and love our animals while we were away.
Not only was Donna a friend to our animals, but to us as well.
She loved when I brought Rondo and Coral to visit her at The Highlands.
There is a void in this Earth without Donna in it. We will dearly miss her.
Rest In Peace my sweet friend.
Karen and Colin McCready

Donna had so many roles in her life, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and loving caretaker of her many adopted pets. We all witnessed her many struggles over the last three years.and she handled all of it with courage and grace. One of my favorite hymns is "Gentle Woman" which describes her beautifully.
Gentle woman, quiet light
Morning star, so strong and bright
I will miss my friend.

I will never forget all the silly fun times we had during our late night scrapbooking crops. We would sometimes be the last ones to leave and laughed and laughed about everything. She was one of the kindest , most thoughtful women I’ve ever met. Her love of animals was a beautiful part of her personality.
I thank her also for introducing me to the outlander obsession! I loved chatting with her about “Jamie” .
The suffering is over but she put up a great fight! I will miss her greatly.
Rest In Peace Donna!

Donna was absolutely a most loving & generous friend to human & to animals. Her qualities were especially known by all of her animal friends. Donna’s many animal friends could tell immediately that she was authentic, kind & that she always had their best interests at the top of her list.
My Golden Retriever, Danny, always knew that life would be sweet when Donna was with him. Instead of sleeping in the guest room, Donna insisted on sleeping in my room since that’s where Danny’s bed was & she did everything to make him happy. Danny knew that Donna would spoil him in a million ways....how fantastic Donna made life for him.
Both Danny & I have been very sad to watch what a terrible impact ALS has had on Donna’s life. She had such courage & determination to deal with the constant progression of this disease that deprived her of so much. Donna continued to find joy, humor & courage through the lives of animals. She frequently watched videos on YouTube about a variety of animals & she was eager to share them with her visitors. The antics or life experiences of animals truly helped her cope with the difficulties of her own medical issues.
Right now, Danny & I are very certain that Donna has already spoken with folks in heaven who now understand that priorities have shifted. Animals & their desires, hopes & dreams will be addressed & delivered first, last & always. Donna is in charge & now things are really heavenly. Here on earth we will miss her very much.
