December 2009 we took a bus trip to NYC. IT POURED RAIN but we had a great time in Chinatown buying purses (she and Shelly went in the back of a van on the corner...what a dare devil!), on the subway, having dinner, and the Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall. Kare and I were done in on the second day and sat in the Museum of Modern Art waiting for the rest of the girls, but it was fun to people watch. I'll never forget her.

My Lord has opened his arms to her and her incredible spirit. Her love for her husband, family and friends lives on in our hearts. We will always remember Karen, her love of life and laughter. Please know her beautiful spirit will always be with you Bob, kids and grandkids. Don't doubt it for one moment. I love you Karen, be at peace dear one.
