Obituary of William Briggs

Briggs, William W. LCDR Rochester: 96 years young entered eternal rest October 16, 2012. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Phyllis. He is survived by his daughters, Lois, Virginia (Joseph) and Joan (Thomas); his grandchildren, Sara (Brian), Wendi (Paul), Mollie (Eric), Joseph, Leslie (Mark), Roxanne and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Hilde, Harold, Henry and Ava; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. At his request Services will be at the Veteran's Cemetery in Bath, NY., on Wed. at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to St. John's Nursing Home, 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
