I deeply regret my doctor has forbidden me to travel to Rochester for the funeral Mass. But I will say Masses and prayers for one of my favorite uncles who reminded me most of my own dad, his older brother. A solid man who delighted not only in his forever optimistic wife and his large and successful family but also in the intricate challenges presented by his fashioning metal into solid geometries of elegance. His house was built on rock. “I rinse my mouth with praise of this good man.” May he rest in soft peace and delight in the divine geometry of creation with Edith at his side.
