Obituary of Jolie P. Hammond

Hammond, Jolie P. (Eaton) Penfield, NY: Jolie lost her courageous two year battle with cancer on June 22. Born February 6, 1970 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Linda Eaton and Richard Peck and the late Michael J. Eaton. In her youth, Jolie was an avid equestrian competing in numerous events at the local and county level while qualifying to compete at the state level. She was a decorated basketball player eventually playing at the college level. Jolie was a graduate of Archbishop Walsh High School and Nazareth College. Jolie married Thomas J. Hammond on December 27, 2002. She was a proud mother of her sons AJ (Austin John) and Griffin. Jolie was an incredible mother always advocating for their special and unique needs. She passed on her love of horses to AJ and her independence and sense of style to Griffin. Jolie is survived by her loving husband Tom, sons AJ and Griffin, mother Linda Eaton & Richard Peck of Allegany, NY her sisters Jen (Jason) Eaton-Miller (Caden, Mikayla), Jacquie Barber (Tyler), Trisha (Tom) Moran (Madison, Tommy) and a very large extended Hammond family that she loved deeply. Calling hours will be from 3-7pm Sunday at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. Webster (Rte. 250). A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1355 Hatch Road at Plank Road in Webster, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary Cariola Children's Center or Stepping Stones Learning Center.
