Obituary of Helen K. Parker
Parker, Helen K.
Rochester: Passed away peacefully among family on April 14, 2016 at the age of 90. She will be missed by her children, Tom & Wanda Parker, Karen (Parker) & David O’Keefe, Lynn (Parker) & James Fort, Ann (Parker) & Mark Schroepfer, David & Danñe Parker, her 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister and brother in-law Gena & Barney Iwanicki, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and friends. She is recently predeceased by her sister Alexandria (Olga) Kulakowski.
Helen graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing and worked as a surgical nurse at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. After raising her family in Watertown, Helen was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. She has lived in Rochester for the past 14 years. Helen was a loving and generous woman who had a friendly smile, beautiful blue eyes and a cheery hello for everyone she met.
She will be laid to rest with loved ones at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Auburn with a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, please share a kind word, smile or hug with someone who needs it in her honor. And maybe a fun sized Snickers.
We love you Mom.
