Obituary of Jesse Contreras

Contreras, Jesse P. Rochester: October 31, 2011, age 86 of Ontario St. Peacefully surrounded in prayer by family and friends at Hildebrandt Hospice Center. Jesse was born December 14, 1924 in San Antonio, TX. WWII Veteran of the US Army Troup B 7th Calavary. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak. A longtime Parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church in the Marketview Heights Area. He was predeceased by his parents, Fidel and Maria; 2 brothers; 1 sisters; son, Jesse, Jr. and grandson Tony Hernadez. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elida (Gutierrez); his twin brother, Raul (Mary) Contreras of TX.; sisters, Emma (Dominic) Suraci and Marina Dominguez; also survived by his children, Mario, Charles, Tina (Louis) Diaz, Lee R., Amy, Jessica, Gonzalo and Jesse; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Calling Thursday 2-4, 7-9 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. A Service will be held during visiting hours at 8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Hildebrandt Hospice, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, 14626. Interment Private.
