Obituary of Dorothy Salim

Salim, Dorothy (Curtis) Webster: Peacefully, August 28, 2011, at Strong Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by parents, Harry L. Curtis, MD & Alice E. Curtis of Portland, ME. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dr. Mitchell Salim; children, Pamela (Edward) Markowski, Karen (Philip) Luvisi & Peter (Donna) Salim; brother, Harris (Madeleine) Curtis of Portland, ME; sister, Ruth Joy of Needham, MA; grandchildren, Sarah & Ethan Markowski, Michelle Luvisi, Tina (Brent) Lilly & Craig Drobek; great-grandsons, Michael & Benjamin Lilly; many nieces & nephews. Dorothy attended Becker College in Worcester, MA. She was a career homemaker, a great mother and grandmother, and enjoyed being with her family. Dorothy was an excellent downhill skier. She took special interest in chatting with the neighborhood children during her daily walks. Dorothy was an active member of her church and transported and supported the elderly for many years. Dorothy's Funeral Service will be held 10 AM WED., at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1120 Webster Rd. @ State Rd., Webster, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
